Hosuk Travels, a leading travel and tourism company in Riyadh, is seeking a skilled and customer-oriented IT Support Engineer to join our team. This role is crucial in maintaining and enhancing our IT infrastructure, ensuring smooth operations for our growing business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Support: Provide first-level support for hardware, software, and network issues to internal staff.
- System Maintenance: Monitor and maintain IT systems, including servers, networks, and applications.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues promptly, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Software Installation: Install, configure, and update company software, ensuring compatibility and security.
- Network Administration: Assist in managing the company’s LAN/WAN, internet connections, and VPNs.
- IT Security: Implement and maintain IT security protocols, including firewalls, antivirus, and data protection measures.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of IT assets, system configurations, and support tickets.
- Training: Provide basic IT training and support to employees, improving overall tech proficiency.
- Upgrades: Assist in planning and executing IT upgrades and infrastructure improvements.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience:
- 2+ years of experience in an IT support or helpdesk role.
- Experience in the travel and tourism industry is a plus.
- Certifications: CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar certifications are advantageous.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in Windows, MacOS, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of network protocols, hardware troubleshooting, and software management.
- Familiarity with cloud services and basic cybersecurity measures.
